This course gives you the opportunity to build confidence and learn practical skills at your own pace.\nNo shotgun? No problem — loaner shotguns are available if needed.\nWe’ll begin in the classroom covering:\n\nSafe gun handling\nBasic operation\nLoading and unloading\nShooting fundamentals\nHome-defense considerations\n\nThen we’ll move to the range for hands-on live-fire exercises, including:\n\nTarget engagement\nLoading and reloading drills\nMovement and multiple-target practice\n\nReactive steel targets will be used to make training fun, safe, and engaging. Whether you’re brand new to shotguns or looking to become more comfortable with your home-defense setup, this class is designed to help you leave more confident and capable.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat's included in the Class?\n\nClassroom Instruction\nRange Time\nEye and Ear Protection if needed\n\nWhat's needed for the Class?\n\nA shotgun in any gauge\nTwo boxes (50 rounds) of birdshot-type ammunition: Shot size of #7 1/2 or smaller\nEye and Ear Protection\nThe shotgun must be unloaded and in a case upon arrival.
