DESCRIPTION:If you enjoy shooting rifles and have never taken a fundamentals class, the NRA Basic Rifle class is perfect for you. This 8-hour course covers rifle fundamentals, safety, various action types, cleaning, and caliber choices. You will learn and practice the five shooting positions: prone, sitting, kneeling, bench, and offhand, with coaching both in the classroom and on the range. Small bore rifles and ammunition are provided. Illinois residents do not need a FOID card to participate.
