By participating, you’ll gain the knowledge needed to make informed decisions in the event of a home invasion. This unique course, offered exclusively through Safe Side Tactical at GAT Guns, addresses the complex questions of modern home defense.\nWe encourage you to bring any questions or concerns you may have. Our instructors present the material on lethal force in a relaxed and accessible manner, making complex moral and legal issues easier to understand.\nIn our Home Defense course, you’ll learn how to develop a personalized plan for your home. By the end of the course, you’ll have a detailed plan tailored to your residence and family. We’ll also cover Illinois laws and how they differ from those in other states.\nYou’ll work on creating a safe room specific to your home and compile a list of essential equipment to facilitate a safe resolution during a critical situation.\nStudents will have the chance to see how common home defense ammunition performs through drywall.
