SUMMARY:Introduction to Rifle
DESCRIPTION:This is a beginning class for people that have little or no experience, providing them with a safe and easy way to learn how to shoot a rifle. This 4-hour class will consist of approximately two and a half hours in the classroom covering the following:\n\nFirearm Safety\nRifle fundamentals\nRifle action types and ammunition\nBenchrest and Standing positions\nBasic rifle cleaning\nCaliber choices\n\nStudents will also have approximately one and a half hours on the range to put their new skills into practice and build confidence in their shooting abilities. We will finish the class with time for students to ask questions.\nWe will supply .22LR caliber rifles and ammunition as part of this class. If you have a .22LR with open sights or an optic, feel free to bring it along with sufficient ammunition.
