This dynamic and fast paced pistol course is designed with beginners in mind.  Throughout this four-phase program you will learn in a fun and energetic atmosphere how to perform with your combat pistol.  This four phase course is designed to walk the participant through the learning process of combat pistol marksmanship; this differs from competitive shooting.

Semi automatics are recommended, but revolvers may be utilized if that is the participants preferred firearm. (Contact the instructors in advance if you intend to utilize a revolver during class)

Chest, shoulder, ankle and cross draw holsters are not allowed for any combat pistol phase.

The focus of this four hour course is to get you more fluid and consistent with holster draw and magazine changes; both speed reloads and tactical reloads.  We also cover magazine malfunction drills and barricade shooting.

In addition, we will also cover:

• Magazine retention
• Positioning of magazines on your body
• Pistol malfunction drills
• Practice clearing malfunctions such as failure to fire, double feeds, and stove pipes

You will become proficient at clearing.
