Christina Bernardoni’s journey with firearms began at the age of eight, igniting a passion that has flourished through her engagement in various shooting sports. While advocating for the Second Amendment, Christina emphasizes the importance of proper education and technique to uphold safety standards. With nearly two decades of hunting experience under her belt since 2002, she has primarily pursued large game within the country and upland game species. Delving into Trap and Sporting Clay shooting in 2015, she showcased her skills with an impressive score of 22 for Trap. Holding concealed carry licenses for both Illinois and Utah, Christina’s expertise extends to teaching private lessons and conducting classroom courses, catering to individuals spanning diverse ages and experience levels. Her commitment to safety is evident through her certifications in Basic Pistol and Rifle instruction, Hunters Safety Instruction, Range Safety Officer, and Long Range Rifle, all obtained by 2020.
Teen Handgun Safety
GAT Guns has a class designed for young shooters ages 14 through 20.
Ready to take your shooting skills to the next level? Our class, led by an NRA certified instructor, is just for teens and packed with action! It’s split into two parts: the first part is in the classroom, where you’ll learn all about firearm handling, safety, and dealing with guns at home. Then, we hit the training range to dive into proper shooting techniques like grip, sight picture, stance, breathing, and trigger control.
This class goes beyond our Youth Handgun Safety Class, focusing on more detailed training and hitting targets at farther distances. Parents are encouraged to stay and watch, so they can learn how to help you on the range.
After successfully completing the course, you’ll receive a decorative certificate with your name on it indicating you’ve taken this training at GAT GUNS.
1 -35 = Beginner | 36-70 = Intermediate | 71-100 = Advanced

- Cancellation / Reschedule of a class from one week to the day of the class is $50.00
