Wether you need a rental for the range or looking to try before you buy, we have an extensive selection of some of the most popular firearms for rental.

Rental Rules & Fees

Please note: We do not allow people to rent guns for others in their party. This is because we are unable to verify that the person being rented for would qualify for a FOID card. For that reason, under no circumstances are those without a FOID card permitted to shoot or handle rental firearms.

Rental Agreement

A Firearm Rental Agreement must be completed at our counter. It states you know and understand how to:

  • Operate the firearm safely and properly
  • Only you, the renter, are permitted to use the firearm

Rental Requirements

  • Valid F.O.I.D. Card required (No exceptions)

  • Must be 21 or older
  • 1 Rental Gun per Booth
  • 1 Rental gun at a time per person
  • No rapid fire, double tap or drawing from a holster is permitted

  • Only the person renting the gun is permitted to fire it

  • Ammo for use in rental guns must be purchased at GAT GUNS on the day of the rental. *You cannot use ammo you bring in even if it was previously purchased at our store

The renter is responsible for any damages caused by negligence and agrees to pay for all necessary repairs to the firearm.
