Lynn GarnandNRA Certified InstructorLynn is a retired Air Force Officer and an NRA Training Counselor. He is also the owner of Safe Side, LLC.
Safe Side, LLC. specializes in custom ammunition for competitive shooters and law enforcement. Lynn is the Lead Instructor for all of Safe Side Tactical’s NRA classes and is the developer of our Long Range Rifle Course. Lynn has been teaching firearms safety for decades and has the ability to offer courses for all shooting levels and long range shooting.
NRA Range Safety Officer
This course will certify you as an NRA Certified Range Safety Officer.
Whether you work at a range or just want to enhance your firearm safety skills, this course will benefit you. This course will provide you with the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting operation(s) and activities.
The RSO certification signifies that you have successfully performed the required safe gun handling (clearing of malfunctions, loading, unloading, general handling) exercises and demonstrated an understanding of Range Standard Operating procedures and Range Safety. Employees of public and private ranges benefit from this course by being better able to handle day to day range operations. Range operators may receive discounted insurance rates as a result of all range employees having this certification.
Once the class has been completed, students should log into NRAInstructors.org to activate their credentials. The certificate is $30 for members and $50 for non-members.

- Cancellation / Reschedule of a class from one week to the day of the class is $50.00
